I will definitely miss this place :( great ambiance and a staple of the NOPA. The staff was great and the drinks were decently priced.

Came to this cool ass brewery. It wasn't one of those cramped ones, but had enough room for big crowds and parties. Barrel Head is located in NOPA, which means North Of The Panhandle if you weren't aware. Has lots of beers on tap as well as some food. The prices are kind of high, but this is a well regarded brewery so they can get away with this it seems. Beers are the main things of course. It's got lots of these to choose from. The last time here there was a crowd, but there were a few seats open at the bar thankfully. Ordered a few of the beers. These are pretty fucking pricy. It's about $8 a pint, which is a lot for a brewery. The best one of these we had was the Flower Power Elderflower Gose. It's a dry hopped, salty, and tart ale. This has floral citrus notes with a subtle acidity, interesting. Also has some okay food. It's $5 for the Hop Salt Fries, one of the few options. Happy hour is actually daily. This is all day Sundays and Mondays. Has a daily happy hour. It's a good way to save on stuff. The beers are pretty expensive, but these are some of the best you can get, and apparently they have some more food options such as tacos for vegetarians.

I love this place and come here often as it's in the neighborhood. Their beer offerings are wonderful and unique! My favorite is the Transylvania Twist. The food here is also great, so it makes a nice casual dinner spot. The fish and chips are unbelievably delicious. I get that dish almost every time I come here. The chicken sandwiches, tacos, and garlic fries are yummy as well.

Cute little spot to hit if you're looking for a vast selection of beer. The service was really quick despite some communication errors. Beer was good and worthy of five stars; though the food may have dropped the rating for me. Cool spot to unwind and would definitely come again
